I say, ol' gear, I'm not much for these Apple Incorporated Miniaturized Computer Devices, per se, but I must declare this one to be brass as can be! However, there is nothing in the description to explain whether or not the accoutrements added to the undistinguished (in fact, positively bland) original are indeed of true metallic vintage or merely japanned. Considering the usual overpriced yet rather chintzy manufacture of these Apple computing-engines, I would not be surprised to find the whole thing to be gold-leaf and cheap jet. Regardless, though, 'tis a fine "up-gradation" from its default construction, I say!
